ClockedClocked

Terms of Service

Effective Date: May 10, 2026

Overview

Clocked is a personal driving log app for learner drivers and their families. It helps users track supervised driving practice hours and export a printable log.

By using Clocked, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

What Clocked Is, and Is Not

Clocked helps you:

  • Track supervised driving sessions
  • Log driving practice hours
  • Edit and organize your sessions
  • Export your driving log as a PDF

Clocked is not a government service, a DMV platform, an insurance product, legal advice, or an official state recordkeeping system. Clocked does not guarantee permit or license eligibility, and does not guarantee that any DMV will accept an exported log.

You are responsible for confirming all DMV requirements that apply to you, independently.

Accounts

Clocked supports Sign in with Apple and email magic-link authentication. Clocked does not use passwords.

You are responsible for maintaining access to your Apple ID or email account, reviewing synced information for accuracy, and using the app lawfully.

You agree not to attempt unauthorized access to the app or its systems, interfere with normal operation, reverse engineer the app except where law allows, or use Clocked to create fraudulent or misleading driving records.

Driving Logs and Your Responsibility

You are responsible for:

  • Reviewing all logged sessions
  • Correcting inaccurate entries
  • Verifying exported PDFs before submitting them anywhere
  • Confirming the DMV requirements that apply in your state

Clocked is software and may contain bugs, sync interruptions, incomplete records, incorrect classifications, or export issues. Clocked does not guarantee accuracy, completeness, DMV acceptance, legal compliance, or eligibility for any licensing requirement.

You should always review an exported PDF manually before submitting it.

Location Usage

If you grant location access, Clocked uses your location only to classify a drive as day or night, based on local sunrise and sunset.

Clocked does not continuously track your location and does not record driving routes. If you decline location access, you can manually classify drives as day or night.

Purchases

Clocked offers a one-time in-app purchase to unlock PDF export.

Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. Pricing may change in future versions of the app.

Refunds are generally handled through Apple's systems and policies. Eligible purchases can be restored across devices associated with the same Apple account.

Offline Use and Cloud Sync

Clocked is designed to work offline. Cloud sync, when available, is optional and operates on a best-effort basis.

You understand that sync delays, device failures, data conflicts, and local storage failures can occur. You are responsible for reviewing and maintaining your own records, and for keeping a backup of any log you intend to submit.

Intellectual Property

Clocked, including its branding, interface design, software, graphics, and related materials, is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, distribute, modify, or commercially exploit Clocked except as permitted by law or with prior written permission.

Suspension or Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to Clocked if the app is used unlawfully, if it is abused or interfered with, if required third-party services become unavailable, or if continued operation becomes impractical.

You may stop using the app at any time.

Disclaimer of Warranties

Clocked is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Clocked is provided without warranties of any kind, including warranties related to accuracy, reliability, availability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Clocked and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app, including damages related to lost data, sync failures, DMV rejection, device failures, purchase issues, or inaccurate logs.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so portions of this section may not apply to you.

Dispute Resolution

If you have a concern about the app or these Terms, we want to try to resolve it with you directly before any formal proceedings.

Informal resolution first

Before filing any formal legal claim, you agree to contact us at support@clockedlog.com so that we can try to resolve the issue informally. We will make a good-faith effort to respond within a reasonable time.

Individual binding arbitration

Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of Clocked that cannot be resolved informally will be resolved through individual binding arbitration, except as provided below.

You and Clocked each agree that any arbitration will take place on an individual basis. Class arbitrations and class actions are not permitted, and you and Clocked each waive any right to participate in a class action or class-wide arbitration.

You and Clocked each waive the right to a trial by jury for any dispute resolved through arbitration.

Small claims court

Either you or Clocked may bring a qualifying individual claim in small claims court if the claim is within that court's jurisdiction and is brought on an individual (non-class) basis.

Opting out of arbitration

You may opt out of the arbitration agreement above by sending written notice to support@clockedlog.com within 30 days of first accepting these Terms. Your notice should include your name, the email associated with your Clocked account, and a clear statement that you wish to opt out of arbitration.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles, except where preempted by federal law or where applicable consumer-protection law in your state of residence provides otherwise.

If any portion of these Terms is found unenforceable in your jurisdiction, the remainder will continue to apply.

Changes to These Terms

Clocked may update these Terms over time. Updated versions will include a revised effective date. Continued use of the app after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
